Privacy Policy

Last updated 16 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Memflo collects, uses, shares and protects your information when you use the Memflo app and website. We use clear plain English so you always know where you stand. Memflo is based in the United Kingdom and we handle your information in line with applicable UK data protection law.

Who we are

Memflo is an AI memory inbox for life, work and business. It helps you save important information such as bills, receipts, invoices, documents, notes, links, screenshots, reminders, renewals, appointments, ideas, tasks and follow ups, and helps you turn that information into reminders, actions, checklists, summaries and follow ups. In this policy, Memflo, we, us and our refer to the provider of the Memflo app and website. For any privacy question you can reach us at support@memflo.co.uk.

What data we collect

Account data

When you create an account we collect information such as your email address, your phone number where you provide it, your verification status and basic profile settings. We use this to create and secure your account and to verify that it belongs to you.

Saved content you provide

Memflo stores the content you choose to save. This can include notes, documents, receipts, invoices, screenshots, images, links, tasks and reminders. This content is yours and we store it so the app can work for you.

Purchase and subscription data

When you buy a subscription or a credit pack through the iOS app, the purchase is processed by Apple. We receive your subscription status and entitlement information through our billing partner RevenueCat so we can give you the correct plan and credits. We do not receive or store your full card details.

Usage and diagnostics data

We collect limited usage information that helps the app function and improve, such as actions within the app and basic device and app version details.

Crash and performance data

We use Sentry to collect crash reports and performance information so we can find and fix problems and keep the app stable.

Communications

If you contact support, we keep your messages so we can help you and improve our service.

How we use data

AI processing of saved content

To understand what you save and to turn it into reminders, actions, checklists and summaries, Memflo processes your saved content using artificial intelligence. This processing may involve trusted third party AI providers that perform the analysis on our behalf under agreements that protect your information. AI outputs are a helpful aid and may not always be perfect, so you remain responsible for checking important information. We do not use your personal data or saved content for third party advertising tracking, and we do not sell your personal data.

Data sharing with service providers

We share information with a small number of trusted service providers who help us run Memflo. They process data only to provide their service to us and under agreements that require them to protect it. These include:

  • Apple for in app purchases and subscription billing on iOS.
  • RevenueCat for managing subscription status and entitlements.
  • An AI provider for analysing your saved content to produce summaries, actions and reminders.

How we protect data

We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls and account verification. Saved items remain private to you unless you choose to share them. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe and to limit access to it.

Data retention

We keep your account data and saved content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data and saved content within a reasonable period. Some records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, legal, tax, billing or compliance reasons.
